Theoretical lessons
Sigma Aerospace College provides courses that provide all the theoretical requirements for obtaining an air pilot's license. Practical lessons
The course for category A1 prepares the student for a practical test on motorcycles. This course is designed for students who wish to ride a moped or small motorbike that has a capacity of up to 125cc. The practical lessons include the theory and the practice of basic riding techniques. The course lasts for four hours minimum. Students wishing to pass the test must have at minimum 9 hours of instruction with an instructor.
The practical lessons for the category A1 course are divided into segments. The first section is a theory lesson on the fundamental rules of driving. The second section is a road-based lesson in which students practice the manoeuvres which will be tested during the Mod 1 test. The final lesson is the test itself that lasts around fifteen minutes. During the test, the student is required to execute various maneuvers, whether on Federal or country roads. The student is also required to take a set number of special rides, such as driving in the rain or at dawn or darkness.
In addition to the theoretical and practical classes, students must pass a written test. The exam is comprised of 50 multiple-choice tests. The test must be passed with minimum 41 points. The test isn't difficult however, it can make students nervous. To make them feel more confident, they should take the test as often as they can.
After completing the course, the student may take the Mod 1 test to receive the permit to drive motorcycles of category A1. This permit allows the student to drive on public roads with an accompanying passenger. The Strassenverkehrsamt must issue the permit. Theory test
If you are looking to obtain a category A1 license, you must pass a theory test before you can start your practical training. The theory test consists of 40 questions, of which 10 concern road safety. The test lasts 30 minutes long and you will only make five mistakes.
You can prepare for the exam by conducting practice tests and using a an instruction manual. Online courses and programs are available to help you gain the knowledge needed. These study materials do not contain the same questions as the theory test but they cover the same topics. You can also practice the theory test through a free online course called Theory Test Pro.
You can ask for an interpreter if have a visual or hearing impairment. You must present a certificate from a qualified professional to demonstrate your impairment. The certificate must include your ICD-10 diagnosis. The staff at the service point will confirm the information. You will also need to provide a statement or certificate from medical professional stating the health grounds that make you qualified for an extended response time for the multiple-choice section of the theory test.

Practical test
